Lutino Cockatiels Jason and Blue, my first parrots, were featured on my first parrot quilt. Sadly, Blue died a few years ago raising chicks. While he never had a clutch of his own, he was an excellent surrogate father and raised many abandoned chicks. Jason, nearly 15 years old, survives to this day with his girlfriend Buttercup. Jason and Blue were the parrots that started it all.
